Beginner's Knitting Course (And Beyond!) - An Ongoing Class
Tuesday Evenings from 6:30PM to 8:30PM and Thursday Afternoons from 3:00PM to 5:00PM
Cost is $15 per session for first 5 sessions, payable at the beginning of the course, and $10 per session thereafter, payable as you go. Course is limited to 6 members per session.
This Course is for the Absolute Beginning New Knitter or for Start Again Knitters, for those wanting to learn to knit or for those who have knitted long ago but have forgotten most of what they knew. After you have learned the basics, let Jean guide you as you move beyond into more complex projects.
Students can attend one or two sessions per week as desired, but they must reserve a spot for each session they wish to attend in order to maintain the maximum of 6 people per session so that everyone is able to get sufficient attention for their needs. One can skip sessions as desired, but if you have reserved a spot in a session and then skip that session, you will be charged for that session (as someone else could have used that spot).
Students will complete four projects in the course. Project One will be a wool hotpad, Project Two will be a ribbed scarf, Project Three will be a hat with a ribbed brim, and Project Four will be a pair of fingerless mitts with a thumb gusset. Skills learned will be the knit stitch, the purl stitch, casting on, binding off, increasing, decreasing, knitting in the round and more.
Students completing all four projects will receive a Conversational Threads logo canvas tote bag upon completion.
Register for your session by emailing the teacher - email@example.com
